CRICKETERS from Millhouses Works Club have chosen Sheffield respite charity Amy’s House as their official charity for the year.
The club will host fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for the charity, set up in 2003 by Handsworth couple Maurice and Meriel Littlewood, as well as donating a proportion of club sponsorship revenues.
Maurice said: “The generosity of people never ceases to amaze me – not just in financial terms but in time and support. Millhouses Works have some great ideas and we are looking forward to working with them.”
