Runners supporting Sheffield’s cancer hospital can reach peak condition through a new partnership.

Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity has teamed up with the city’s biggest gym membership scheme, Fitness Unlimited, encouraging supporters to train for fundraising runs at its facilities.

Runners can support the charity by signing up for the Sheffield Half Marathon, the Run in the Park 10k race and 3k fun run, or the Great Yorkshire Run.

For a limited time they will receive three months’ free membership with Fitness Unlimited - run by Sheffield International Venues - by paying up-front for annual membership.

Complimentary one-day trials are also on offer.

Helen Gentle, Weston Park fundraiser, said: “From seasoned runners to total beginners, everyone is welcome to join Team Weston Park and raise vital funds to support cancer research and improve treatment and care for thousands of patients.”

Visit http://wphcancercharity.org.uk for more details, or call 0114 223 3419 to arrange a free gym pass.
