A local children’s and young people’s service is offering help to teenagers struggling with self-harm.

Organisation 8:16 is running a six week course aiming to help secondary school pupils understand why they self harm and to look at alternative ways to cope.

The Surviving Self Harm course begins on Tuesday, July 29 at 8:16’s base at Eben Street, near Meadowhall.

A further course will begin in September.
