Marie Curie Cancer Care has issued a thank you to Morrisons at Bramley, Tesco at Maltby, Tesco at Forge Island and Lidl in Rotherham for supporting the charity’s Christmas Collections and raising over £2,400 for local nursing.
Katie Grinter, local Community Fundraiser for Rotherham, said: “Thank you to everyone who gave up an hour to help at collections as part of our Christmas Appeal 2012. “Over £16,500 was raised across South Yorkshire which equates to over 800 Marie Curie nursing hours. Thank you so much!”
