Chaplain job for top NHS priest

HEALTH service bosses have appointed a chaplain to take charge of covering their Doncaster service.

The Rev Meg Burton has been officially appointed as the new head of chaplaincy for Balby-based Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

Meg, who previously worked at the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, will be based at RDaSH’s Tickhill Road Hospital Spiritual Care Centre, and will work with staff and patients across RDaSH including Doncaster’s St John’s Hospice.

She said: “I am really looking forward to my role here and working with patients and staff. This role will be a great challenge and it allows me to bring together all of my previous experiences into this one role.”
