Cash raised for tragic nurse

A GROUP who ran the Race for Life at Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire, in memory of Bawtry nurse Alison Fong, has raised £3,600 for Cancer Research.

The runners, who called themselves the Fong Thong Throng, consisted of members of Alison’s family, friends, churchgoers and neighbours.

Alison lost her fight against ovarian cancer in March this year, aged 51. Her husband, So Him Fong thanked those who took part.
