YOUNG patients on the children’s ward at Doncaster Royal Infirmary were handed an extra special delivery by staff from the Amazon Fulfilment Centre at Balby Carr, Doncaster.

A range of toys for various ages purchased by staff were brought in by Teresa Mitchell, Stuart Worthington, Andy Stringer and Chris Mankin, which included interactive books, a Barbie set, board games and interactive toys for toddlers.

Lindsey Arthur, the play leader on the children’s ward, said: “It is always a pleasure to receive donations of games and toys, so we would all like to thank the staff at Amazon for thinking of the children. They’ll all have a fun time playing with them.”
