Advice session for epileptics

People in Sheffield with difficult to control epilepsy are being invited to attend an information session.

The workshop is being hosted by national charity Epilepsy Action.

It takes place at The Circle, Rockingham Lane, Sheffield city centre, on Saturday, between 9.30am and 1pm.

People attending the session will have the chance to find out more about a variety of treatment options through professional presentations and question and answer sessions.

The programme includes presentations from experts based at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals – Edel Dewhurst, a psychotherapist, and Dev Bhattacharyya, consultant neurosurgeon.

Entry costs £6 per person or £4 for concessions.

■ Contact Epilepsy Action’s local services team on 0113 210 8800 or lso@epilepsy.org.uk for more information.
