Law firm warns Government

A LAW firm handling personal injury claims against shops and restaurants in Sheffield has fears the Government’s plan to change health and safety regulations, will result in more people having accidents.

Jeff Knibb, of Attercliffe-based Wosskow Brown Solicitors, is urging the Government to reconsider its proposal to reduce health and safety visits.

“Shop and restaurant workers and their customers often suffer injury and illness due to poor health and safety standards and Wosskow Brown is handling cases against a range of high profile restaurants and shops across the city centre.

“If staff are not kept aware of their responsibilities and their performance is not checked regularly there will be even more accidents, more injuries and more claims.”
