Teams will be taking on wacky challenges to raise funds for South Yorkshire’s only children’s hospice when a charity event returns.
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, in North Anston, is holding a competition based on the 1970s TV show It’s A Knockout, featuring fun games, fancy dress and props from the original programme.
Now in its second year, the contest will take place at Dinnington Rugby Club on July 12.
Each team needs to raise £1,000 in sponsorship and can have between 10 and 12 members.
Julie Hampson, corporate fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “Last year’s It’s A Knockout was a fantastic day with a lot of fun and laughter.
“As a business challenge, it’s a great opportunity for companies to sign up to a different type of team building day, while at the same time helping your local children’s hospice.”
The event starts at 11am. Families can also enjoy fairground rides, face painting, craft stalls, a tombola and raffle.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served from a licensed bar and barbecue.
