A SOUTH Yorkshire NHS trust that provides mental health and community services is inviting people in and around Barnsley to a series of free talks offering an insight into common health conditions.

The education talks are being held by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

They are an opportunity for local people to find out about diabetes, dementia and bipolar disorder.

Led by the Trust’s medical directors Dr Nisreen Booya and Dr Keith Sands, the events are an educational talk on particular conditions, followed by time for questions.

The events, which are free, are at: The Core, County Way, Barnsley, on Tuesday, September 20, and Tuesday, October 18, and Barnsley Metrodome, on Wednesday, September 28, and again on Tuesday, October 11.
