Heels on for charity race

Have your say

A CHARITY race with a difference has been organised in a Sheffield park next month - with people invited to take part while wearing teetering high heels!

The High Heel Race has been set up by the Autism Plus charity based in Attercliffe, Sheffield, and Thorne, near Doncaster, with men, women and children all wanted to sign up and raise cash for a good cause.

Participants will be wearing three inch heels for the relay race event, which takes place on July 3 in Endcliffe Park.

People can sign up as a team of four people for £35 or individually for £10 each. Each team is also asked to raise £150 in sponsorship, with all money going towards work improving the quality of life for people with autism.
