Health bosses want views on end of life care in town

Have your say

Barnsley residents are being asked to share their experiences of the end of life care services in the town.

NHS Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group is developing a new strategy for how they plan and pay for the care. It wants to hear from anyone who has past experience of the care and those who are currently caring for someone receiving the services.

Dr Mehrban Ghani, GP and CCG medical director, said: “We understand that end of life care is a sensitive subject, and can be difficult to talk about. However, the CCG is committed to talking openly about this issue to make sure that every resident in Barnsley receives the best possible care at the end of their life.
