The gym at The Dome, Doncaster, won a silver award at the Health Club Awards - voted for by customers across the UK.

Fitness Village Health Club beat off competition from eight other clubs across Yorkshire.

The awards are unique in the health industry as winners are decided by members of health clubs who are asked to complete a questionnaire rating their own club on the level of service, facilities and value for money.

Kraig Kelly, group health and leisure manager for Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, said: “We are delighted that our members rate us so highly.

“Our team were extremely proud to be in the top ten venues in Yorkshire and Humber so to walk away with the silver award was the icing on the cake for us.

“We very proud of the level of service we provide all our members. We believe we offer excellent value for money and this scheme is a great way to show it.

“Our fitness village members enjoy great facilities and a dedicated team who are always running innovative initiatives to help people keeping fit.”
