BUSINESSES across the region are being urged to get out of the office and onto the greens in support of dementia charity Lost Chord.
Lost Chord is the South Yorkshire organisation that helps to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia by providing interactive musical experiences in care homes and day centres across the region and nationally.
The charity’s annual golf day, one of its most popular social and fundraising events, will once again be held at Rotherham Golf Club, on Friday, May 20, next year.
Admission costs £220 per team of four, with a choice of tee-off time, a hot bacon roll and coffee to begin, and a two-course dinner at the end of the course.
“The day will also include a putting competition, prizes for nearest the pin and the longest drive and a raffle.
“Our Golf Day is always a great hit and makes a major contribution to our annual fundraising,” said Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller.
“It’s a fabulous way to support a charity that touches so many lives across the region and nationally – and I can’t think of any better reason for getting out of the office or off the shop or factory floor for a few hours of healthy fun.”
