Fresh food brings healthy recognition for catering team in Sheffield

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals’ catering team has received an award in recognition of its ongoing commitment to serving fresh and healthy food.

The catering department, which serves food at the Northern General Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Weston Park Hospital and Jessop Wing, has won a Bronze Catering Mark under the Soil Association’s Food For Life scheme.

Three quarters of all meals are freshly prepared from unprocessed ingredients.
