A HOSPICE is benefiting from brand new facilities thanks to the generosity of a business.
The housekeeper’s room and linen store at Ashgate Hospice, Chesterfield, has undergone a £5,000 refurbishment.
Equipment for the room, including cupboards, stainless steel worktops and a sink, was provided by local business Franke Sissons. Members of staff also installed it free-of-charge.
Andy Dukelow, managing director of Franke Sissons, said: “Ashgate Hospice is a remarkable place providing completely free-of-charge care for people reaching the end of their lives.
“We continue to be so impressed by the work done at Ashgate and felt compelled to continue our support of them as our chosen charity in any way we can.”
