A strike by South Yorkshire ambulance workers is still set to go ahead tomorrow despite fewer than 55 trade union members taking part in the most recent walkout.
A strike involving members of the Unite union at Yorkshire Ambulance Service, happened on Friday from 3pm to 9pm.
Another is planned for the same time tomorrow.
Ian Brandwood, executive director of HR at the ambulance trust, said ‘little more than one per cent’ of its total workforce observed the strike.
“We remain deeply concerned that a trade union representing ambulance service workers chooses to strike in this way,” Mr Brandwood added.
