Young patients with bone conditions in Sheffield are set to enjoy a fun evening at a festive event.
Sheffield Children’s Hospital’s metabolic bone disease service’s Christmas party is expected to attract 100 children to the Park Hotel, at Meadowhead, on November 30.
An entertainer will amuse the youngsters with games, and a disco and magic show are also set to take place.
Hospital mascot Theo the Bear will drop by, and families will also enjoy a buffet and a visit from Santa.
The event is for children affected by conditions such as brittle bone disease.
Katie Parsons, therapy assistant and clerical officer, said: “We are really pleased to be holding this event, thanks to generous fundraising by medical students, Tesco and the Sheffield Window Centre.
“We see patients from birth to 18 years, and it’s a great way to bring children and young people together where they can meet others with the same conditions and have fun.”
