Dizzy heights in our sights

A TEAM of staff from a Sheffield hospital reached dizzy heights in a fundraising stunt for a children’s cancer charity.

The workers from the Sheffield Vision Centre at Royal Hallamshire Hospital abseiled down Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough Stadium to raise £800 for CLIC Sargent.

Consultant ophthalmic surgeon Matthew Edwards who led the team, said: “The event was for a really good cause and the whole team pushed themselves to ‘go over the edge’ in spite of adverse weather.”
