Organisations across Sheffield have been presented with defibrillators.

Insurance firm Westfield Health organised a month-long ‘Heart of Sheffield’ campaign with the British Heart Foundation and Yorkshire Ambulance Service to provide free defibrillators across the city.

Mencap Sheffield, Ecclesfield Priory Players, The Old Rectory, the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, Brunswick Retirement Village, Brunsmeer FC Under 14 team and Parson Cross Community Centre have received the devices.

Graham Moore, Chairman of Westfield Health, which has funded 92 defibrillators since 2003, said: “It’s a privilege to carry on the work we’ve been doing over the last 10 years, providing life saving defibrillators to organisations in the Sheffield region and beyond.”
