More than 30 people rowed the length of England’s longest river, the Thames, in aid of a Sheffield charity.

Teams of three took part in the challenge in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care, and the rowers included 44-year-old Emma Brace, pictured above left, from Millhouses, who completed 186 miles alone.

The majority of the distance was completed on indoor rowing machines, as well as on the water at Damflask reservoir in Bradfield.
