A Sheffield law firm has raised more than £27,000 for the British Heart Foundation in a year.

The money raised by Nabarro, at Victoria Quays, will go towards the BHF’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.

The appeal is aiming to fund research to work out how to repair or replace damaged heart muscle.

Members of the law firm visited Dr Timothy Chico, a clinical scientist, at The University of Sheffield.

The Department of Cardiovascular Science and Honorary Cardiovascular Consultant research is funded by the BHF.

Dr Chico said: “We’d like to thank Nabarro for their tremendous support.”

Chris Chambers, of Nabarro, said: “We’re proud to support the appeal which can give hope to people suffering with heart failure.”
