Some of Sheffield’s top business brains are aiming to make a splash for the city’s St Luke’s Hospice.

The group are taking the plunge from the top diving board at Ponds Forge Sports Centre, to help raise money for St Luke’s £5 million appeal to create a new inpatient unit.

The Big Splash event is happening in September, organised by Sheffield International Venues and the City of Sheffield Dive Club.

Already training are Geoff Halliwell, director at architects Bond Bryan, magician and entertainer Steve Faulkner, Siobhan Newton from Hallam University and Caroline Moore, a director of Medical Solicitors.

Joining them will be Karen Sherwood and Graham Shapley, of the Cupola Gallery in Hillsborough, and Joe Heller from recruitment company Consult Search.

Tickets are available online at www.stlukeshospice.org.uk or from the Sheffield Arena Box office.
