A big-hearted business has made a kind donation to help sick children.

Marketing and delivery specialist Menzies Distribution has awarded £2,500 to Sheffield Children’s Hospital charity from a special fund.

The boost came after employees across Sheffield, Leeds, York, Scarborough, Hull and Bradford voted for the charities they wanted to support this year.

Menzies Distribution managing director David McIntosh said: “The Children’s Hospital is a centre of excellence and our employees are extremely proud to support such a worthy cause this year.

“We hope funds will contribute to helping many sick children in the future.”

Money will go towards the Make It Better appeal to carry out improvements to the hospital.
