Brain charity’s target of 100

Have your say

A Sheffield charity which supports hospital patients with brain conditions is hoping to raise thousands of pounds through a new appeal.

Neurocare, which funds the neurosciences department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, is running the £100x100 campaign in November, looking for 100 people to raise £100 each.

Supporters are organising coffee mornings, bake sales, walks and even a body waxing challenge, while the Neurocare team is approaching companies to hire them as ‘servants’ for a day - but more ideas are needed.

Everyone who takes part and collects £100 or more will be invited to a party in December, with a bottle of champagne on offer for the champion fundraiser.

Email to take part.

Proceeds will be used to treat illnesses including brain tumours, strokes, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.

The charity is also holding a Halloween party on November 2 at Wortley Hall.
