BLADES manager Micky Adams will be enjoying an adrenalin rush when he takes part in a charity zip wire across the club’s home stadium.
The event on Sunday, May 15 has been organised to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association and Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind.
Participants will fly 160 metres through the air, setting off from the upper tier of the Westfield Health stand and finishing to the left of the goal in front of the Frasers Property Kop.
Elizabeth Wright, community development co-ordinator, said: “This really is a special event and provides an amazing bird’s eye view over the stadium.”
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registration is £10 and all participants are asked to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship.
