A STOCKSBRIDGE dad whose life turned upside down when he had a stroke has staged a remarkable recovery and has vowed to go back to running his business.

Father-of-one Tim King had a seizure in April 2009 and underwent a biopsy. But he suffered a stroke and has spent three months recovering.

The 50-year-old, known to friends as ‘Biz’, is regaining mobility down his right side after being referred to the Fitness Unlimited Gym at Ponds Forge and hopes to return to running his web development company Webonauts.

Tim said: “Having to put the business on the back-burner was difficult.

“We were going to launch the business after my surgery but of course it had to be put on hold. I am setting myself goals so I have something to work towards.”
