TOUGH terrains were no match for the grit of the army of cyclists who took to the Peak District in a charity ride.
More than 300 fundraisers got on their bikes to support for the British Heart Foundation during an annual challenge. The cyclists took part in 15-, 24-, 34- and 39-mile circuits in the Hope Valley for the Peak District Mountain Bike Challenge.
It is hoped the event will raise about £33,000 to fund BHF work in the area.
Hannah Carling, event organiser, said: “I would like to thank everyone who took part, everyone who supported our riders and all of our volunteers. Without your support, we could not continue our vital work in to beating heart disease.
“This event, which is supported by Santander, is truly relentless and everyone has done so well.”
