PEOPLE looking for an alternative to a pub crawl can to join in an ‘art crawl’ in Barnsley next week.
The free and healthy alternative to a pub crawl will be the first of several planned drug and alcohol-free nights.
The Art Crawl will include a tour of street artwork installations by people recovering from drug and alcohol misuse.
The project was commissioned by Barnsley Drug and Alcohol Action Team.
The evening begins at 4pm on Thursday, August 25, at the Civic on Hanson Street, where maps can be collected.
The last stop on the Art Crawl is VIVA Café on Regent Street South, where people can meet the artists.
From 8.30pm to 10.30pm there will be films and live music at the Cedar Rooms in The White Bear, Church Street.
