Two young climbers are scaling the heights of a world-famous mountain today and tomorrow to raise money for the Sheffield hospital where three of their classmates were treated.
Nine-year-olds Sofia Seaborne and Jess Webber will climb 900 metres - the height of El Capitan in California - at The Climbing Works on Little London Road. The girls, who attend Totley Primary, will scale the centre’s 30m wall 15 times each.
Proceeds will go to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity’s Make It Better appeal. Visit www.justgiving.com/step-it-up to sponsor.
