A-list lookalikes to give hospice ball star appeal

Have your say

DON’T look now - but you might find yourself rubbing shoulders with the stars at the St Luke’s Hospice Hollywood Ball.

For among the attractions at the glittering September 29 event will be a guest appearance by movie A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie… or at least a couple looking very much like them!

The lookalikes are among the entertainment at Baldwin’s Omega in Nether Edge, and headlining will be a top Michael Buble tribute act.

Sheffield saxophonist and St Luke’s supporter Andy Cahill also brings his distinctive sound to the evening and there are more vocals from singer Karen Jo Morgan.

And to take the dancing well into the night there will be music from band Big Time Charlie, a four piece whose set includes hits from The Killers, Black Eyed Peas, David Bowie, Kings of Leon, Robbie Williams and REM.

“This promises to be our most glittering ball ever,” said St Luke’s events manager Anna Sheppard.

“It’s a great line-up and, with a casino sponsored by Napoleons and a charity auction as well, it is going to be a night to remember.”

Tickets cost £60 each, £550 for a table of ten or £660 for a table of 12. To book your place call 0114 235 7561 or email: eventinfo@hospicesheffield.co.uk
