COMMUNITY groups and projects in Rotherham are being offered grants to help improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
The NHS Rotherham Small Grants Scheme has made £10,000 available to support projects in the area, which can submit bids for up to £500 of funding each.
Priority will be given to projects that fit the scheme’s priorities, which include supporting people at the end of their lives and with long-term conditions, improving health in pregnancy, reducing obesity, increasing awareness of mental health, and helping people to quit smoking.
The scheme has been running for the past two years, and groups have until December to submit bids.
