Concern is growing for a missing teenager from Sheffield who has not been seen or heard from since going to a nightclub.

Caroline Everest, aged 18, was last seen by her friends at Corporation nightclub, in Milton Street, Sheffield, at around 2.30am in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Air pollution death toll - 698 people died prematurely in South Yorkshire in a year

Air pollution caused the premature deaths of an estimated 698 people across South Yorkshire in a year, according to statistics highlighted today.

The figures for Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley were revealed by charity Brake as it called on people to ‘drive less and live more’ in a new campaign for the launch of Road Safety Week .

Police have issued a public appeal today about the incident on Thursday, November 12, in Heeley Green.

Pensioner robbed by man with knife in Sheffield

Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman was robbed in Sheffield.

A man, who was in carrying a knife, threatened a 74-year-old woman near a flats complex in Greenland View, Greenland, at about 2.55pm on Monday, November 16.

Guns found in drugs blitz in Rotherham

Firearms including a handgun and sawn off shotgun were found by police during raids in Rotherham.

The weapons were seized along with Class A drugs and cannabis in a crackdown on drugs in the town, which has seen officers raid over 50 properties over the last 12 months.

Festive fun for families at Sheffield Christmas fayre

Hundreds of people braved the cold to get into the festive spirit at a popular Christmas fayre in Sheffield.

The Whirlow Christmas Fayre took place on Saturday and Sunday at Whirlow Hall Farm between 10am and 3pm on both days.
