tHE next meeting of Sheffield’s City Centre Forum - where residents discuss crimes and issues of concern - has been arranged.
Local people who attend can ask representatives of organisations including South Yorkshire Police and Sheffield Council to tackle problems as a priority.
Since it was launched in 2009, issues raised include prostitution and begging in the city centre.
Police in the city centre are currently focusing on managing alcohol-related anti-social behaviour, bike thefts and anti-social behaviour around the Cathedral area.
The meetings are also is also used discuss the impact of events including student bar crawls, Fright Night and Christmas Lights switch-ons, which attract mass crowds to the city centre.
The next meeting is to be held at The Circle, Rockingham Lane, on Tuesday, January 17, at 6.30pm.
