The Star has teamed up with a leading discount website to help families make memories this half-term holiday.

Sheffield’s Fire and Police Museum in the city centre is a great way to keep the little ones interested as they enjoy a break from school – and that’s why Deal Monster is offering 55 per cent off admission this week.

Entry for families usually costs £11, but readers will pay just £5 if they log on to the website.

The West Bar museum, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, offers youngsters the chance to travel back in time through exhibits and old vehicles.

Nikki Binks, of Deal Monster, said: “There will be plenty of events to help the museum celebrate the huge milestone. You can also discover a street fire experience, and enjoy the model railway and tram layout.”
