A gun went off in a Sheffield street after an argument between two men.

Police are appealing for information following an incident in Sheffield in which a firearm was discharged.

At around 3.30pm on Thursday November 26, police were called to Ellesmere Road in Burngreave following reports that two men had been arguing, during which a firearm had been discharged.

No-one was injured during the incident but police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the two men or anything suspicious in the area at the time.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone with details of a dark grey or silver van, with a white and orange logo, that was reported to have left the scene immediately after the incident.
