A MAN accused of killing a dad with two punches at his South Yorkshire home has been convicted of manslaughter.
James Walker, aged 27, killed 55-year-old Alan Cartwright by hitting him during a row over drugs last April.
Alan’s body was found at his house on Darton Lane, Mapplewell, Barnsley, the next day.
The Sheffield jury of eight men and four women took an hour and three quarters to convict Walker of manslaughter by a unanimous verdict.
Walker, of Windsor Avenue, Kexbrough, had admitted assault occasioning ABH. He is due to be sentenced today.
