Households across Bolsover and North East Derbyshire are invited to start using their green bins again for gardening waste from next month.
Residents can dump leaves, hedge and plant clippings, twigs, branches and prunings, grass mowings, weeds and cut flowers in the bins.
They can also fill them with cooked and raw food waste, including peeling, bones, fish, bread, pasta, fruit and vegetables.
The green waste will be taken to a composting facility.
Residents are being urged to should check the waste and recycling calendars that where distributed before Christmas for their exact start date.
