DOZENS of youngsters joined in well-known nursery rhymes and danced the conga at Meadowhall as part of a drive to get youngsters talking.
Sheffield-based musician Anna Wright led the interactive fun singing session along with a local children’s choir.
It was all part of Sheffield City Council’s Every Sheffield Child Articulate and Literate campaign which is aimed at having every child reading and speaking well by the time they are 11 years old.
The campaign has been backed by former Blue Peter presenter Katy Hill and Newsround’s Ellis Crisell.
The free event was aimed at improving communications skills by getting children and young people singing and dancing with their families.
