SHE’S a real high flyer in every sense.

And that’s why the people from the National Lottery will be wishing Jess Ennis the best of luck - by flying over Sheffield on the eve of the biggest competition of her life.

The National Lottery’s London 2012 Hot Air Balloon, sporting the words ‘Good Luck Jess’ will take to the sky in Sheffield after well-wishers from her former school, King Ecgbert in Totley, and the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Coun John Campbell, sent messages of support to our golden girl as she aims to win her first Olympic medal.

The balloon will take off from King Ecgbert’s tomorrow as Jess competes in the first stages of the heptathlon at the Olympic Stadium.
