EVERY one loves a Gizmo.

Especially when that Gizmo is loving, loyal and gentle.

This dog is an orphan who needs a new home and a family to take care of him.

RSPCA Sheffield Branch animal care manager Tony Benham said: “Gizmo just can’t seem to find that special someone to call his own and it’s such a shame for such a delightful dog to be going without a proper home.

“Gizmo was transferred from RSPCA Bawtry to our branch in the hope someone new would get to see him here in Sheffield and they would spot straight away that he was the dog for them.

“And we are hoping to find a happy ending to his story which has been a bit sad so far.”

The cheerful, fun-loving, tan coloured, crossbreed, is about six years old.

He is extremely well behaved when it comes to his baths and grooming.

Tony added: “Although Gizmo isn’t poorly behaved with other dogs, we’d like to see him settled as an only pet as he really needs that time and attention to himself after all he has been through.

“We do think he might settle though with another dog, as long as they were a quiet female.

“Gizmo looks forward to his walks and adventures with our voluntary dog walkers and the RSPCA Sheffield staff who find his love of life and bouncy nature uplifting.

“He always brings a smile to your face. We would recommend about two lots of 30 minute walks a day for this cheerful chap.

“But what he really needs now, more than anything, is that consistent person or family he can call his own.
