‘Sweet lady’ Katy Perry is looking for a loving forever home.
The seven-year-old domestic shorthair cat was brought to Sheffield RSPCA in February after being left behind by her owner when they moved away.
RSPCA spokesman Adam Spencer said: “She is a sweet lady who is looking for a stable home where she can feel safe and secure.
“Katy takes her time to get to know new people and is a little wary and unsure, but she soon comes round and likes to make friends. This sweet lady is affectionate and loving and enjoys a fuss and gentle groom. She is an independent girl and will take herself off into a quieter corner when she has had enough.
“Katy hasn`t been too interested in toys whilst she has been at the centre, but has started to play a little with her fishing rod.”
Katy - who has no known health issues - is looking for a home with no young children, if any, and no other cats.
Adam added: “She needs somewhere she can settle in gradually with patient and understanding owners. She gets quite upset at being around other felines so is looking for a home where she can the the only cat in the household. This gorgeous girl has had a rough time of late and is looking for someone to turn her fortunes around, is that someone you?”
