Girls' night out to raise charity cash
WOMEN in Sheffield are being invited to enjoy a girls' night out with a difference - and raise money for charity at the same time.
Sue Ryder Care will host its first Midnight Walk for girls only on May 17, and wants them to don their lipstick and trainers and take part.
The 10 mile trek through Hillsborough and the surrounding area will raise money for the charity which cares for people with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease.
The event was launched at Hillsborough Leisure Centre, from where the walk will start and finish.
A team of women from the centre will be taking part in the moonlit event, when each walker will receive a T-shirt, midnight walk goodies, refreshments along the way, and a medal and breakfast at the finish line.
Entry costs 12 and everyone who takes part will be given a sponsor form to raise as much money as possible for charity.
