A TEENAGE girl had to be helped from a crag after becoming stuck while rock climbing and scrambling around Burbage Valley.

The 16-year-old, from Sutton, London, was taking part in an outdoor activity week when she slipped and became wedged in a narrow gully 20ft up from the base of the cliff.

Members of Buxton and Edale Mountain Rescue Team were called to help the youngster down.

She had scratches and grazes and was struggling to breathe when they reached her.
