A Macmillan Cancer Support Mobile Information Centre has rolled into South Yorkshire and Derbyshire for the rest of the month, providing information and support.
The centre will be in Rotherham town centre today, Firth Park in Sheffield next week, and Dronfield, Staveley and Shirebrook on dates over the next two weeks.
“No-one should face cancer alone,” said service manager Helen Tuvey.
“A service such as ours means support is available nearby, providing answers to people’s questions about cancer. We’re here for anyone - people who have had a cancer diagnosis, carers, friends or anyone who just wants to know more.
“The service is free, confidential and no appointment is necessary - just step on board.”
The centre will be in Firth Park on Saturday, June 29, in Dronfield Sports Centre car park this Thursday, in Staveley town centre next Tuesday, June 25, and at Shirebrook Market on Friday, June 28.
If you are unable to visit the mobile centre but require information about cancer, call 0808 808 0000 or visit www.macmillan.org.uk
