A NUMBER of dawn chorus walks organised by the Wildlife Trust are set to take place around Sheffield and Rotherham – when early birds are promised the reward of a cacophonous chorus at the sun comes up.
A number of guided walks will take place around several of our nature reserves.
They start on Sunday – at Centenary Riverside, Rotherham between 6am to 8am.
It will be followed on Saturday, April 28, through Moss Valley Woodlands in Coal Aston between 6am and 8am.
On Saturday, May 5, there is a walk through Blacka Moor, Dore and Totley from 5.30am to 7.30am.
The walks conclude on Saturday, May 12, with a walk through Wyming Brook and Lodge Moor, from 5.30am to 7.30am.
For all Dawn Chorus walks, there is a suggested minimum donation of £3 and maximum group size of 15.
