A cancer charity is urging Sheffield folk to pucker up for a new campaign.
Cavendish Cancer Care is asking people to upload pouting selfies to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to raise awareness of the #CavKiss campaign.
The campaign, which is running in the period around Valentine’s Day, asks supports to donate £1 to the cause by texting ‘CAVX15 £1’ to 70070.
A number of the charity’s supporters are already getting involved, including 10,000BC star Kym Hall and even a pet dog.
Cavendish fundraiser Victoria Wood said: “February is the month of love, so we’re hoping that the good people of South Yorkshire will pull their best pout and spread the word about Cavendish Cancer Care.”
The charity will share their favourite selfies on their own social media feeds.
Cavendish Cancer Care, based on Wilkinson Street, Sheffield, is a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Services are provided free of charge and the cause relies on donations from supports and help from volunteers to continue its work.
