Employers will get the chance to meet with the best and brightest local talent at a careers fair in Sheffield.
The Star and Jobstoday are joining forces to match businesses with proactive jobseekers from across South Yorkshire at the day-long event.
Unemployed people on the hunt for a brighter working future are set to flock to the fair, which will take place at The Hub, Paternoster Row on Thursday, September 12.
And organisers are appealing for businesses with vacancies to fill to book an exhibition stand.
The fair will help put them on the map as a great local employer, as well as offering the chance to meet potential candidates.
Seminar slots are also available for companies who want to provide advice and techniques to help jobseekers into employment, or to take their next step on the career ladder.
In an extensive marketing campaign, promotions of the fair will be appearing in all Johnston Press titles in the area, in newspapers and online.
Joanne Harwood, group category manager at Johnston Press, said: “A job fair is a great opportunity for businesses to fill their vacancies with the candidates they are looking for.
“By meeting face-to-face with local job hunters in a relaxed and informal setting, they are able to get a much better understanding of the individual’s skills and experience.
“We hope that many businesses will take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their company while filling their vacancies and connecting with all the talented individuals in the Sheffield area.”
