EIGHT gardens will be open to the public in Oxspring later this month after the original event had to be cancelled in July because of bad weather.
For the ninth year running residents will open their gardens to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Gardens will be open on Sunday, August 26, between 1pm and 5pm, on Fields End, Tollbar Close and Brookfield, where there will be cream teas, a cake stall, a tombola and raffle.
The event has raised £18,000 over the years.
Organiser Jane Harding said: “We are amazed each year by the support of all our visitors to the open gardens. It’s a lovely day for all the family and hopefully we’ll have the weather to match. There are those who have been coming every year but also lots of new faces too.”
